Course Objectives:

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Introduction to Flow Assurance and Production Chemistry

7. Chemical Treatment Strategies in Flow Assurance

  • Learn how to select and apply production chemicals, including:
    • Demulsifiers.
    • Corrosion and scale inhibitors.
    • Drag reducing agents (DRAs).
    • Biocides and oxygen scavengers.
  • Implement chemical injection and monitoring best practices.

8. Pipeline Flow Modeling and Remediation Strategies

  • Learn about flow assurance simulation tools (OLGA, PIPESIM, LedaFlow, Multiflash).
  • Understand slugging, liquid holdup, and pressure drop analysis.
  • Develop remediation plans for flow assurance failures.

9. Case Studies and Best Practices

  • Analyze real-world case studies on flow assurance and production chemistry challenges.
