−Integration with DCS/PLC systems

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Apply comprehensive knowledge of maintenance and implementation procedures for CCC Series 5 Vanguard and Series 5M systems.

Discuss the CCC control system architecture, including the Vanguard and Series 5M platforms.

Execute installation according to best practices, including I/O configuration and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) navigation.

Utilize the Control Configuration Studio (CCS) to create and manage projects and design loops and function blocks.

Perform sensor and actuator calibration, system simulations, functional testing, and diagnose alarms and events.

Conduct pre-commissioning activities such as controller initialization, software downloads, control loop tuning, and integration with DCS/PLC systems.

Implement commissioning checklists, manage configuration changes, and perform routine maintenance and hardware troubleshooting.

Diagnose software faults, troubleshoot field devices, carry out system recovery and backup procedures, and generate performance reports.

Demonstrate advanced surge and performance control strategies, integrate CCC systems with machine monitoring tools, and apply cybersecurity best practices.

Create and modify control loops, run fault simulations, test manual versus automatic modes, and conduct interlock testing.
