Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Fundamentals of Electrical Workshop Safety
- Understand electrical hazards and risk mitigation.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for electrical work.
- Follow safe handling, grounding, and insulation procedures.
2. Overview of Electrical Workshop Tools and Equipment
- Identify and use basic hand tools, including:
- Screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
- Wrenches, hex keys, and insulation tape.
- Operate power tools for electrical work, such as:
- Electric drills, soldering irons, and cable crimping machines.
3. Electrical Measuring Instruments and Testing Equipment
- Understand and use multimeters for voltage, current, and resistance measurement.
- Learn how to operate clamp meters, megohmmeters (insulation testers), and continuity testers.
- Use oscilloscopes for signal analysis and troubleshooting.
4. Electrical Components and Wiring Accessories
