The 7 New Management and Planning Tools

12 – 16 Jan. 2026, Abu Dhabi02 – 06 Nov. 2026, Abu Dhabi

COURSE OVERVIEW:

While the basic quality tools focus on numerical data and process control, the 7 New Management and Planning Tools are designed to handle qualitative information, complex ideas, and organizational strategy. These tools assist leaders in organizing unstructured thoughts, identifying relationships between abstract concepts, and planning the implementation of large-scale projects. This course provides a sophisticated framework for managers to navigate the "fuzzy" front end of problem-solving and strategic planning within an ISO-compliant environment.

The scope of this training involves the application of these tools to help organizations move from chaotic brainstorming to structured action plans. Attendees will learn how to analyze the interdependencies of various organizational factors and how to visualize the path toward a desired goal. The curriculum focuses on the collaborative nature of these tools, emphasizing their use in cross-functional teams to build consensus and ensure that all perspectives are integrated into the final strategy.

Coverage includes the Affinity Diagram, Interrelationship Digraph, Tree Diagram, Prioritization Matrix, Matrix Diagram, Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC), and Activity Network Diagram. Participants will work through complex organizational scenarios, using these tools to map out transitions, design new processes, and mitigate risks. By the end of this course, attendees will possess the advanced planning capabilities required to lead institutional change and manage the complexities of modern management systems.
