Strategic Quality Planning: Aligning QMS with Business Goals

13 – 17 Apr. 2026, Dubai10 – 14 Aug. 2026, Abu Dhabi

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Quality is most effective when it is not a standalone initiative but a fundamental component of the organization's business strategy. This course provides senior leaders and quality professionals with the tools to transition from tactical compliance to strategic quality management. Participants will learn how to design a Quality Management System (QMS) that actively supports the achievement of long-term business objectives, revenue growth, and market expansion.

The scope of this training involves the use of strategic planning tools such as Hoshin Kanri, SWOT analysis, and the Balanced Scorecard within an ISO framework. Attendees will explore how to identify external and internal issues that impact the QMS and how to translate these into measurable quality objectives. The curriculum emphasizes the alignment of departmental goals with the corporate vision, ensuring that every level of the organization is pulling in the same direction.

Coverage includes the identification of "Context of the Organization" (Clause 4), the determination of stakeholder requirements, and the integration of risk management into the planning cycle. Participants will examine how to monitor quality performance through executive dashboards and how to adjust the QMS in response to changing market conditions.
