Lean Six Sigma Black Belt: Advanced Data Analysis

30 Mar. – 03 Apr. 2026, Abu Dhabi21 – 25 Dec. 2026, Dubai

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt: Advanced Data Analysis course is an elite program designed for professionals who wish to master the quantitative side of process improvement. While Green Belts handle functional problems, Black Belts are equipped to solve complex, cross-departmental issues that require advanced statistical rigor. This course focuses on transforming raw data into strategic insights, enabling the organization to achieve near-perfect quality by reducing variation to 3.4 defects per million opportunities.

The scope of this training involves a deep dive into the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology with a heavy emphasis on the "Analyze" and "Improve" phases. Participants will move beyond basic charts to master complex statistical tests, predictive modeling, and the design of experiments. The curriculum is designed to build "data scientists of the shop floor" who can confidently lead large-scale improvement projects that deliver millions of dollars in savings.

Coverage includes advanced topics such as Hypothesis Testing, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Multiple Regression, and Design of Experiments (DOE). Attendees will learn how to use statistical software to model complex processes and predict how changes will impact performance. By the end of this course, participants will possess the technical authority to mentor Green Belts, influence executive decision-making with data, and drive the highest levels of organizational efficiency.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

  • Lead complex, high-impact Six Sigma projects using the DMAIC framework.
  • Apply advanced statistical concepts to solve chronic business problems.
  • Determine the appropriate sample size for high-confidence data analysis.
  • Conduct advanced Hypothesis Testing (Parametric and Non-parametric).
  • Perform Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for multiple process variables.
  • Build and interpret Linear and Multiple Regression models.
  • Use Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize process settings.
  • Apply advanced Control Charts for monitoring specialized processes.
  • Evaluate Measurement System Analysis (Gage R and R) for complex data.
  • Facilitate the identification of "Vital Few" factors from "Trivial Many."
  • Mentor and coach Green Belts on technical data analysis tasks.
  • Calculate the financial impact and ROI of advanced Six Sigma projects.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Experienced Green Belts, Quality Engineers, Data Analysts, Operations Managers, and Business Excellence Leaders.

TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:

A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive, practical, and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material will be provided in PowerPoint, with necessary animations, learning videos, and general discussions.

The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.

COURSE CERTIFICATE:

National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
