Kaizen Event Facilitation: Driving Rapid Improvements
| 11 – 15 May 2026, Abu Dhabi | 07 – 11 Sep. 2026, Abu Dhabi |
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Kaizen Event Facilitation is a dynamic course designed to teach leaders how to plan and execute "Kaizen Blitz" events that deliver measurable results in a matter of days. Kaizen, the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement, focuses on making small, incremental changes that lead to significant long-term gains. This training provides the structured framework necessary to mobilize a team, target a specific problem area, and implement rapid solutions that eliminate waste and improve process flow.
The scope of this training covers the entire lifecycle of a Kaizen event, from the initial "charter" phase to the post-event follow-up. Participants will learn how to select the right projects, assemble a cross-functional team, and facilitate the brainstorming and testing of new ideas. The curriculum emphasizes the behavioral side of Kaizen, focusing on how to overcome resistance to change and empower frontline workers to take ownership of their own process improvements.
Coverage includes the use of Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis within the high-pressure environment of a three-to-five-day event. Attendees will practice the skills of a facilitator, learning how to keep a team focused, manage conflict, and ensure that changes are sustained through standardized work. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped to lead rapid improvement cycles that significantly reduce lead times, improve quality, and boost team morale.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
