ISO 45001 Internal Auditor

02 – 06 Feb. 2026, Abu Dhabi03 – 07 Aug. 2026, Cairo

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The ISO 45001 Internal Auditor course is designed to provide safety professionals with the skills required to assess and improve an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS). In an increasingly regulated environment, the internal audit is a vital tool for verifying that workplace safety protocols are effective and that the organization is fulfilling its legal and moral obligations to its employees. This course provides a practical approach to auditing safety performance, focusing on hazard identification and risk control.

The scope of this training involves the application of ISO 19011 auditing principles to the specific requirements of the ISO 45001 standard. Participants will learn how to audit core elements such as worker participation, hazard identification, and the hierarchy of controls. The curriculum emphasizes the auditor’s role in evaluating the "safety culture" and ensuring that management commitment translates into tangible safety improvements on the shop floor or in the field.

Coverage includes audit planning, evidence collection through interviews and site observations, and the professional reporting of safety nonconformities. Attendees will explore the nuances of auditing emergency preparedness, incident investigation, and legal compliance registers. By the end of the course, participants will be able to provide objective and actionable audit findings that help their organization reduce workplace accidents, improve employee well-being, and maintain ISO 45001 certification.
