Introduction to ISO 9001 QMS

04 – 08 May 2026, Abu Dhabi28 Sep. – 02 Oct. 2026, Sharm El Shaikh

COURSE OVERVIEW:

ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. This course provides a foundational understanding of the standard’s principles, helping participants understand how a well-implemented QMS can improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer satisfaction.

The scope of this training involves an exploration of the seven Quality Management Principles that form the basis of the standard. Participants will be introduced to the High-Level Structure (Annex SL) and the core requirements of clauses 4 through 10. The curriculum emphasizes the transition from a purely procedural approach to a "risk-based thinking" and "process approach" mindset, which are the cornerstones of the 2015 revision.

Coverage includes an overview of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and how it drives continuous improvement across all levels of an organization. Attendees will learn about the importance of leadership, context, and documented information in maintaining a robust QMS. This course serves as a vital first step for employees, managers, and quality professionals who are beginning their journey with ISO 9001 or looking to refresh their understanding of the standard's modern requirements.
