Value Engineering  and Management

13 – 17 Apr. 2026, Dubai10 – 14 Aug. 2026, Abu Dhabi

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Value Management (VM) extends the principles of value engineering into the strategic and organizational realms, focusing on the alignment of "Project Objectives" with "Corporate Strategy." This course provides a high-level framework for Value Engineering and Management, focusing on the governance and leadership required to embed "Value-Thinking" into the entire project lifecycle. It addresses the strategic importance of "Stakeholder Consensus" and "Benefit Mapping" to ensure that large-scale investments deliver the maximum possible utility to the enterprise.

The scope of this training encompasses the technical application of "Value Management Workshops," the implementation of "Value Policy," and the management of "Organizational Value Culture." Participants will learn how to utilize "Soft Value Management" techniques for team alignment and "Hard Value Engineering" for technical optimization. The course provides practical tools for "Value Benchmarking," "Strategic Function Analysis," and the integration of "Sustainability" into the value framework.

Coverage includes the analysis of the "European Standard for Value Management" (EN 12973), the implementation of "Value Program Management," and the execution of "Strategic Value Audits." Attendees will explore the role of the "Value Manager" as a facilitator of strategic change and learn how to manage the "Portfolio Value" of competing projects.
