Project Management Facilitation Skills

12 – 16 Jan. 2026, Abu Dhabi02 – 06 Nov. 2026, Abu Dhabi

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The complexity of modern projects requires a leader who can act as a neutral "Facilitator," guiding diverse stakeholders toward consensus and collaborative action. This course provides a comprehensive framework for developing the core facilitation skills necessary to lead productive workshops, resolve technical deadlocks, and drive project decision-making. It focuses on the strategic importance of "Process Leadership," where the facilitator manages the "How" of the meeting so the team can focus on the "What" of the project content.

The scope of this training encompasses the application of "Facilitation Tools," the management of "Group Dynamics," and the mastery of "Visual Thinking" and "Brainstorming" techniques. Participants will learn how to design effective "Workshop Agendas," handle "Difficult Participants," and facilitate "Risk Identification" and "Lessons Learned" sessions. The course addresses the complexities of "Virtual Facilitation," providing practical tools for using digital whiteboards and collaboration platforms to engage remote project teams.

Coverage includes the analysis of "Consensus-Building" strategies, the implementation of "Action Tracking" protocols, and the execution of "Post-Workshop Reports." Attendees will explore the psychology of "Groupthink" and learn how to foster an environment of "Psychological Safety" where innovative ideas can flourish. By mastering facilitation skills, project managers will be able to maximize the collective intelligence of their teams, reduce meeting fatigue, and accelerate project progress through clear and committed action.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

  • Design and lead high-impact "Project Workshops" and meetings.
