Integrity Assurance in Projects, Methods, and Systems
| 04 – 08 May 2026, Abu Dhabi | 03 – 07 Aug. 2026, Abu Dhabi |
COURSE OVERVIEW:
In the lifecycle of complex industrial projects, integrity assurance is the vital discipline that ensures assets are designed, built, and operated to fulfill their intended purpose safely and reliably. This course provides a high-level strategic framework for implementing comprehensive integrity management systems that span the entire project timeline. It focuses on the proactive identification of risks to physical, operational, and data integrity, ensuring that no technical or systemic compromise threatens the project's viability.
The scope of this training encompasses the technical methodologies used for quality assurance, asset integrity management (AIM), and the verification of safety-critical elements. Participants will examine the integration of international standards, such as ISO 55000 and API codes, into the project’s execution plan. The course addresses the human and systemic factors that lead to integrity failures, providing professionals with the tools to foster a culture of technical discipline and rigorous verification.
Coverage includes the development of integrity performance standards, the execution of independent third-party audits, and the management of digital integrity data. Attendees will learn how to implement "Barrier Management" techniques and how to ensure that "As-Built" documentation accurately reflects the physical reality of the asset. By mastering integrity assurance, professionals will be able to deliver projects that provide long-term operational excellence and meet the highest safety and environmental benchmarks.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Design robust integrity assurance frameworks for large-scale projects.
- Implement Asset Integrity Management (AIM) systems from the design phase.
- Identify and verify "Safety Critical Elements" (SCEs) and their performance.
- Apply international standards for asset management and technical integrity.
- Execute rigorous technical audits and independent third-party reviews.
- Manage the transition of integrity data from construction to operations.
- Utilize "Barrier Management" models to prevent major accident hazards.
- Oversee the quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) workflows.
- Identify human factors and organizational risks to project integrity.
- Implement digital integrity management systems and "Digital Twins."
- Develop comprehensive "Performance Standards" for critical infrastructure.
- Facilitate formal handover processes that ensure operational integrity.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This course is intended for Integrity Engineers, Project Managers, QA/QC Managers, Asset Managers, and Safety Leaders responsible for industrial project delivery.
TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:
A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive, practical, and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material will be provided in PowerPoint, with necessary animations, learning videos, and general discussions.
The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.
COURSE CERTIFICATE:
National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
