| 12 – 16 Jan. 2026, Abu Dhabi | 07 – 11 Dec. 2026, Abu Dhabi |
COURSE OVERVIEW:
The transition from project conceptualization to legal reality depends entirely on the precision of contract drafting and the clarity of technical specifications. This course provides a sophisticated framework for developing procurement documents that eliminate ambiguity and establish a clear baseline for performance and quality. It focuses on the linguistic and technical discipline required to ensure that every contractual obligation is measurable, enforceable, and aligned with the project’s strategic intent.
The scope of this training encompasses the drafting of diverse contract types and the creation of comprehensive specification packages including descriptive, performance-based, and proprietary formats. Participants will learn how to structure complex legal clauses, manage technical annexes, and ensure consistency between different parts of the contract document. The course addresses the critical interface between the legal wording of an agreement and the practical realities of site-level implementation and enforcement.
Coverage includes the utilization of standard templates, the management of version control during the drafting phase, and the implementation of robust change control protocols once the contract is active. Attendees will explore techniques for translating stakeholder requirements into technical language and learn how to conduct rigorous peer reviews of contract drafts.
