COURSE OVERVIEW:
Tendering is the foundational phase of any construction project, where the quality of preparation directly influences the success of execution. This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the construction tendering process from both the owner’s and the contractor’s perspectives. It focuses on the strategic planning and technical precision required to develop tender packages that elicit competitive, accurate, and high-quality bids.
The scope of this training covers the entire tendering cycle, beginning with market analysis and pre-qualification and extending through to the final contract award. Participants will learn how to prepare detailed bills of quantities, technical specifications, and administrative instructions that minimize ambiguity. The course addresses the complexities of bid analysis, emphasizing the need for a balanced evaluation of technical capability, financial stability, and commercial competitiveness.
Coverage includes the legal and ethical standards governing the tendering process, the management of mid-tender queries, and the conduct of post-tender negotiations. Attendees will explore the utilization of electronic tendering platforms and the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in bid preparation. By mastering the construction tendering process, professionals will be able to manage the risks associated with project acquisition and ensure that the most qualified partners are selected for their initiatives.

This course is intended for Tendering Managers, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement Specialists, Project Managers, and Business Development Managers.
TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:
A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive, practical, and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material will be provided in PowerPoint, with necessary animations, learning videos, and general discussions.
The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.
COURSE CERTIFICATE:
National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
