18 – 22 May 2026, Abu Dhabi12 – 16 Oct. 2026, Dubai

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The successful execution of remote or large-scale construction projects is fundamentally dependent on the quality and efficiency of the temporary infrastructure. This course provides a comprehensive guide to the planning, design, and management of construction camps, site offices, and warehouses. It focuses on the logistical challenges of creating a functional, safe, and compliant temporary base that supports the productivity and well-being of the entire workforce.

The scope of this training encompasses the technical requirements for site mobilization, including land preparation, utility connections, and the selection of modular vs. bespoke structures. Participants will examine the regulatory standards for worker accommodation, focusing on health, safety, and welfare requirements in diverse geographic locations. The course also addresses the strategic layout of site offices and warehouses to optimize communication and material flow, ensuring that the temporary base acts as an efficient hub for project operations.

Coverage includes the management of facility services such as catering, laundry, and waste management, as well as the implementation of security and access control systems. Attendees will learn how to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of different temporary facility options and how to plan for the eventual demobilization and site restoration.
