COURSE OVERVIEW:

The successful execution of remote or large-scale construction projects is fundamentally dependent on the quality and efficiency of the temporary infrastructure. This course provides a comprehensive guide to the planning, design, and management of construction camps, site offices, and warehouses. It focuses on the logistical challenges of creating a functional, safe, and compliant temporary base that supports the productivity and well-being of the entire workforce.

The scope of this training encompasses the technical requirements for site mobilization, including land preparation, utility connections, and the selection of modular vs. bespoke structures. Participants will examine the regulatory standards for worker accommodation, focusing on health, safety, and welfare requirements in diverse geographic locations. The course also addresses the strategic layout of site offices and warehouses to optimize communication and material flow, ensuring that the temporary base acts as an efficient hub for project operations.

Coverage includes the management of facility services such as catering, laundry, and waste management, as well as the implementation of security and access control systems. TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:

A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive, practical, and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material will be provided in PowerPoint, with necessary animations, learning videos, and general discussions.

The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.

National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
