Production Operations Management and Shift Handover Excellence

19 – 23 Jan. 2026, Abu Dhabi20 – 24 July 2026, Abu Dhabi

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Managing production operations requires a sophisticated balance of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This course focuses on the management systems and leadership skills necessary to run high-performing field assets. A critical pillar of this course is "Shift Handover Excellence," addressing the high-risk period when critical information must be passed between personnel to ensure operational continuity.

The curriculum covers the core elements of Production Operations Management (POM), including integrated planning, maintenance scheduling, and KPI management. Participants will explore the human factors that influence operational safety and the implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) at the field level. The training provides practical frameworks for conducting effective handovers, using both digital logs and structured communication techniques.

By the end of the program, supervisors and managers will be equipped to foster a culture of operational discipline, reduce the risk of incidents during transitions, and lead their teams toward meeting production targets with zero harm.
