Agilent Systems Mastery: Optimization and High-Performance Chromatography
| 13 – 17 Apr. 2026, Abu Dhabi | 07 – 11 Sep. 2026, Abu Dhabi |
COURSE OVERVIEW:
The meaning of this course is the attainment of expert-level proficiency in the operation and management of Agilent chromatography platforms, including the 1200/1260/1290 LC series and 7890/8890 GC series. As a global leader in analytical hardware, Agilent systems possess unique architectural features and software capabilities that require specialized knowledge to fully exploit. This course moves beyond basic operation to explore the deep configuration and optimization of these industry-standard instruments.
The scope of the training involves a comprehensive study of the Agilent OpenLab and ChemStation software environments, focusing on advanced data processing, automation, and compliance features. It covers the intricacies of Agilent-specific hardware, such as Jet Weaver mixers, multisamplers with dual-needle technology, and the maintenance of EPC (Electronic Pneumatic Control) modules. By mastering the hardware-software interface, participants will be able to achieve superior resolution, faster run times, and enhanced sensitivity.
The coverage includes detailed troubleshooting of Agilent systems, from diagnosing leak rates to resolving communication errors in the instrument control framework. Participants will learn how to implement "Intelligent Reporting," manage large spectral databases, and perform advanced hardware diagnostics using the Lab Advisor tool. This course ensures that laboratories equipped with Agilent technology can maximize their return on investment through optimized performance and minimized downtime.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Configure Agilent LC and GC hardware for maximum analytical performance.
