PIES Enhanced Sampling, Analysis, and Reporting
| 30 Mar. – 03 Apr. 2026, Dubai | 24 – 28 Aug. 2026, Abu Dhabi |
COURSE OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this course is to provide specialized technical expertise in the implementation and management of Enhanced Sampling, Analysis, and Reporting systems, often referred to in the context of high-integrity process intelligence and environmental compliance. In modern industrial facilities, the ability to capture representative samples and perform high-speed, accurate analysis is vital for process optimization and meeting stringent regulatory reporting standards. This program focuses on the technical architecture of enhanced sampling systems and the digital tools used to transform raw analytical data into actionable reports.
The scope of this training encompasses the design of advanced sampling probes, conditioning systems, and the integration of diverse analytical sensors into a unified reporting framework. Participants will explore the mechanics of "Enhanced" sampling, which includes real-time quality verification, automated purging, and the management of multi-stream analytical sequencers. The curriculum is specifically designed to address the challenges of handling unstable, high-pressure, or toxic samples while maintaining the integrity of the chemical composition.
Coverage includes the practical application of digital reporting platforms that aggregate data from both online analyzers and laboratory results to provide a comprehensive view of plant performance. Attendees will learn how to troubleshoot sampling lag times, ensure the statistical validity of analytical data, and generate automated compliance reports for stakeholders and regulators. By focusing on the full data chain from the probe to the report, the course ensures that participants can manage high-integrity analytical systems that support the facility's safety and economic goals.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Analyze the requirements for representative sampling in complex processes.
- Differentiate between standard and "Enhanced" sampling architectures.
- Design Sample Conditioning Systems (SCS) for unstable fluids.
- Implement automated purging and cleaning cycles for sampling probes.
- Manage Multi-stream Switching Systems for efficient analyzer utilization.
- Ensure Sample Integrity across the transport line to the analyzer.
- Utilize advanced digital tools for real-time analytical data aggregation.
- Apply statistical methods to validate the accuracy of analytical results.
- Generate automated reports for environmental and process compliance.
- Troubleshoot failures in conditioning systems and analytical sensors.
- Manage the interface between online analysis and Lab Information Systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols for handling hazardous and toxic samples.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This course is intended for Analyzer Technicians, Process Chemists, Environmental Compliance Officers, and Senior Instrumentation Engineers.
TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:
A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive, practical, and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material will be provided in PowerPoint, with necessary animations, learning videos, and general discussions.
The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.
COURSE CERTIFICATE:
National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
