Advanced Gas Condensate Reservoir Management
| 13 – 17 Apr. 2026, Abu Dhabi | 07 – 11 Sep. 2026, Abu Dhabi |
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Gas condensate reservoirs present complex production and reservoir-management challenges due to retrograde condensation, compositional changes, condensate banking, and pressure-dependent fluid behavior. This advanced course provides participants with the technical depth required to understand, model, and manage gas condensate reservoirs throughout their lifecycle—from early appraisal to plateau production and decline stages.
The course covers advanced PVT analysis, compositional simulation, condensate dropout prediction, well deliverability modeling, near-wellbore flow impairment, cycling and reinjection strategies, reservoir surveillance, EOR options, and long-term development planning. Participants will learn how to integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data to diagnose productivity loss mechanisms and design optimal reservoir-management solutions. Real-world case studies from major condensate fields reinforce technical decision-making and performance optimization strategies.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
After completion of the course, the participants will be able to:
- Understand the unique thermodynamic and flow mechanisms governing gas condensate reservoirs.
- Interpret advanced PVT data and perform compositional characterization.
- Analyze retrograde condensation behavior and condensate banking effects.

TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY
A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximise the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive, practical, and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material will be provided in PowerPoint, with necessary animations, learning videos, and general discussions.
The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.
COURSE CERTIFICATE
National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
