- Mill Test Reports (MTRs) and Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Chemical and mechanical test certificates.
- 3.1 and 3.2 certification according to EN 10204.
- ASME and API material specifications.
3. Inspection Levels and Classification
- Learn about different levels of inspection and their requirements, including:
- Level 1 (Self-Inspection): Performed by manufacturers.
- Level 2 (Third-Party Witness): Partial vendor inspection.
- Level 3 (Independent Certification): Full third-party certification.
- Understand the differences between hold points, witness points, review points, and surveillance inspections.
4. Material Testing and Verification Methods
- Learn key inspection and material testing techniques, including:
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant).
- Destructive Testing (Tensile, Hardness, Impact, Fatigue Testing).
- Chemical Composition Analysis (Spectrometry, XRF, ICP).
- Dimensional and Surface Inspection (Coordinate Measuring Machines, Profilometers).
