Course Objectives:

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Introduction to Cooling and Water Systems Management

  • Understand types of heat exchangers (plate, shell-and-tube, finned coil).

  • Implement fouling prevention and thermal efficiency improvement strategies.

5. Legionella Risk Management and Microbiological Control

  • Learn about Legionella bacteria risks in cooling towers and water systems.
  • Implement water safety plans and Legionella prevention programs.
  • Apply regulatory and industry best practices (ASHRAE 188, CDC guidelines, ISO standards).

6. Water Conservation and Sustainability Strategies

  • Optimize water usage and efficiency in cooling systems.
  • Learn about alternative cooling technologies (hybrid cooling, dry cooling).
  • Implement wastewater recycling and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) strategies.

7. Monitoring, Control, and Automation in Cooling Systems
