Advanced Nodal Analysis for Production Engineers

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This course provides production engineers with in-depth knowledge and advanced analytical skills in applying nodal analysis to optimize well performance, diagnose production constraints, and evaluate integrated reservoir, wellbore, and surface network interactions. Participants will learn how to apply modern nodal analysis techniques, interpret inflow and outflow performance relationships, and execute complex system simulations to enhance field productivity. Advanced case studies and real operational scenarios are used to reinforce concepts and ensure practical mastery.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

After completion of the course, the participants will be able to:

-Understand the principles and methodology of advanced nodal analysis in production engineering.

-Evaluate inflow performance relationships and determine well deliverability under variable operating conditions.

-Model and optimize outflow performance including tubing, choke, and artificial lift effects.

-Integrate reservoir, wellbore, and surface network parameters to create accurate nodal analysis models.

-Diagnose production bottlenecks and identify optimization opportunities.

-Perform multi-node system analysis and sensitivity studies.

-Apply software tools and analytical techniques to maximize well and system productivity.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

-Production engineers

-Petroleum engineers

-Reservoir engineers

-Field development engineers

-Operations and well performance engineers

-Technical professionals involved in production optimization

TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:

A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive but practical and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material through PowerPoint equipped with necessary animation, learning videos, and general discussions will be provided.

The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.

COURSE CERTIFICATE:

National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
