Advanced Integrated Production Modelling

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This course provides an in-depth understanding of advanced techniques and workflows in Integrated Production Modelling (IPM), covering reservoir inflow, wellbore flow, artificial lift optimisation, surface network modelling, and full-system production forecasting. Participants will learn to integrate multi-disciplinary models into a single coherent production system, analyse constraints, optimise field performance, and support operational and strategic decision-making. Through advanced case studies, participants will gain hands-on experience in constructing, calibrating, and validating integrated production models to enhance field productivity and manage complex subsurface-to-surface interactions.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

After completion of the course, the participants will be able to:

-Understand the principles and architecture of integrated production systems from reservoir to surface network.

-Build, calibrate, and validate advanced IPM models using real-field datasets.

-Analyse reservoir inflow, well performance, and multiphase flow dynamics.

-Evaluate and optimise artificial lift systems within an integrated modelling environment.

-Model surface networks, gathering systems, flow lines, and facility constraints.

-Diagnose bottlenecks and identify opportunities for production enhancement.

-Perform system-wide sensitivity analyses, scenario modelling, and forecasting.

-Integrate production modelling with reservoir management and operational planning strategies.

-Interpret integrated model outputs to support decision-making for both short-term operations and long-term development planning.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

-Production engineers

-Reservoir engineers

-Petroleum and subsurface engineers

-Well performance and artificial lift engineers

-Field development and optimisation specialists

-Operations engineers and facility engineers involved in production systems

-Technical professionals seeking advanced knowledge in integrated modelling workflows

TRAINING COURSE METHODOLOGY:

A highly interactive combination of lectures, discussion sessions, and case studies will be employed to maximize the transfer of information, knowledge, and experience. The course will be intensive but practical and highly interactive. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. The attendants will also be encouraged to raise more of their questions and to share in developing the right answers using their analysis and experience. There will also be some indoor experiential activities to enhance the learning experience. Course material through PowerPoint equipped with necessary animation, learning videos, and general discussions will be provided.

The course participants shall be evaluated before, during, and at the end of the course.

COURSE CERTIFICATE:

National Consultant Centre for Training LLC (NCC) will issue an Attendance Certificate to all participants completing a minimum of 80% of the total attendance time requirement.
